Both are U.S.-made hybrid mattresses backed by a 365-night trial, so the real difference comes down to certifications and materials. Avocado is the more heavily certified of the two: it's a Climate Neutral® and Fair Trade® certified B Corp, and its Green Mattress carries GOTS-certified organic cotton and wool, GOLS-certified organic latex, GREENGUARD Gold, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and MADE SAFE® certification, on top of a 25-year warranty. Saatva uses organic cotton and CertiPUR-US® certified foams and avoids fiberglass flame retardants, but it isn't Climate Neutral® or B Corp certified, and doesn't publish a full life-cycle assessment.
If certified organic materials and third-party sustainability verification matter most to you, Avocado is the stronger pick. If you prefer a traditional innerspring feel with white-glove delivery and a lifetime warranty, Saatva is a solid choice, just with fewer sustainability credentials to back it up.
